ABSTRUCT provided structural engineering design for the structural alterations, loading assessment and fit out of this new high-end restaurant. A particular challenge was the design of a new steel framed roof mounted plant platform behind the restaurant, which needed assessment of the existing roof structure and walls. Furthermore there were a number of load bearing wall removals to be carried out at ground floor level to open up the space for dining and kitchen for which ABSTRUCT designed all the structural alterations.
