ABSTRUCT provided full structural and civil engineering design for this newbuild block of flats.

We provided various structural scheme options for initial costing and buildability studies by the client. Further assessment of the ground conditions enabled us to design a very efficient shallow reinforced pads foundation solution together. FE analysis was used to design an economic RC frame, to receive light-weight stud infill walls and SFS top storey. A deep bore soakaway was utilised to overcome drainage constraints, providing a simple and cost effective solution.
